[finnish christmas tarts]
these little star tarts are deeply associated with my childhood since my great aunt would make them every christmas. and so i decided to make them myself this year. for this first attempt i did not make the dough myself, but instead used store bought puff pastry. i did, however, make the prune jam myself, and despite "prune jam" not sounding all that wonderful, i assure you, it is delicious.

i also made some with apricot jam.
